Bromeliads
After cutting and trying to create a pleasing shape from the P.E.T. bottle, I finally cut the flower shape of a bromeliad. After cutting a few more, I painted the bromeliads with fluro colours which really brought them to life…. I knew I had created something beautiful from a waste product. Many friends had told me to exhibit my creations at Thursday Plantation, which I did and won the acquisition award as well as the people’s choice.
